I knew I should've stayed home!!
Today hasn't started out to be a good day, AT ALL!!
I didn't want to get out of bed this morning and against my better judgement, I did. I should've listened to my inner self and turned the alarm off and went back to sleep. But, I didn't...
I was out and about doing my daily tasks, going to the bank, and running a few errands for work when suddenly my day came to a complete ball of chaos!
I was traveling down the main stretch in town in my BIG GREEN DODGE PICK UP TRUCK, when a guy in a little bitty green saturn car turned right in front of me. I jumped on my break with both feet, but there was no stopping, he turned in too suddenly and I was too close. I locked it up, but I still hit him. Man, talk about slow motion. It all happened in slow motion. I knew I was going to hit him, but I couldn't do anything to stop it. He was going to O'Riley Auto Parts (how ironic is that). So, he was turned in there. I just pulled on in there and got out. We both made sure one another were fine. Then I called the cops. They wanted to know everything down to what color my shirt was today...okay not that much, but a lot of details for a phone call to say send an officer to the scene of an accident. Anyhow, it was raining by the time the officer got there. So, he didn't want to get out of his vehicle very much, and neither did I. In fact, I didn't. I figured it wasn't my fault, so I wasn't going to stress about it too much.
He got a ticket for failure to yield, and we were on our way. Well, I was. I imagine he had to be towed because his wheel was bent in where I hit him in the passenger side rear panel. My truck will have to have the bumper replaced, I'm sure but otherwise I think it's fine.
I'm okay, baby in the belly is okay, and the other guy was okay. So, I guess it was just an hour out of our day that we both wish we could rewind, but don't we all have days like that!?

Thanks for stopping in!
I'm just glad that it happened where we could get off the road. I know it would've really slowed down lunch time traffic.
