Brien is headed back from Little Rock from the sleep clinic. I haven't heard what they told him yet. But, he did have a hard time falling asleep for their sleep test. I hope that he did sleep enough for them to determine what diagnosis will be best for him. I will post more when I talk to him and find out what the doc said.
Shelby had a crazy fit last night.
It started around 10:30. I had been snoozing a good hour, I guess and I heard this terrible screaming. I went in to check on her and she wouldn't tell me what was wrong. She would just answer no to any question I asked her: Does your head hurt, does your throat hurt, does your belly hurt, etc. So, anyhow this went on a good thirty minutes. When I would try to hold her, she would kick and hit. She just screamed and cried like something was hurting her. Finally I began to cry with her begging her to tell me what was the matter. She wouldn't speak. I told her she was scaring mommy and I was going to take her to the hospital to find out what was wrong. A little bit after she realized that I was really scared, she kinda calmed down a bit. I can only deduct that she must've either had a VERY bad nightmare, or had some kind of gas bubble or something, maybe a cramp in her leg or something of that sort. But, she did finally calm down. She didn't want to come to bed with me. She said she wanted to lay in her bed. When I started to put her down, she said:
Mommy, I won't cry in my bed anymore.
She didn't...she slept sound the rest of the night. It did take me a little bit of winding down before I could fall asleep.
